How to reply to Google reviews in Hindi (without sounding like a robot)
Most reply templates read like a bank SMS. Here is how to answer Hindi and Hinglish reviews the way a shop owner actually talks.
How should I reply to a Google review written in Hindi?
Reply in the same language and register the reviewer used — Hinglish for a Hinglish review, not formal Hindi. Name the specific thing they mentioned, keep it under three sentences, and for negative reviews acknowledge the problem publicly while moving the detail to a private channel.
Why English-only replies cost you
A customer who writes in Hinglish and gets a formal English reply reads it as a form letter. The reply is public: every future customer sees whether you answered like a person or like a call centre.
Match the register, not just the language
There is a wide gap between formal Hindi and the Hinglish most reviews are written in. Replying in shuddh Hindi to a Hinglish review is almost as jarring as replying in English.
Answer the specific thing
A reply that repeats the review back adds nothing. Name the dish, the stylist, the wait — whatever they actually mentioned.
Handle the bad ones in public, fix them in private
Acknowledge the problem in the reply, say what you are changing, and move the detail to a phone call or WhatsApp.
